Objectives and Themes

The main objective of this Conference is to exchange innovation for the maintenance and the rehabilitation of all network assets, as road pavements, bridges, and tunnels, having in mind the user’ needs and expectations, and the integration of the required resources, promoting the truly transport infrastructure asset management.

The technical program includes keynote lectures on two subjects of relevance for the Conference objectives and sessions on following eight different themes covering the main concerns on asset management and pavement engineering:

1. Innovation in Materials, Practices and Technologies
2. Condition Evaluation of Assets
3. Assets Performance Models
4. Maintenance Measures and Guidelines for Roads with Low Traffic Volume
5. Maintenance Programming for Management Systems
6. Economic Trends for Management Systems
7. Implementation of Pavement and Bridge Management Systems
8. Road Asset Management


September 30, 2007: Due date of abstract. Bulletin 2.
November 4, 2007: Abstract acceptance
March 2, 2008: Full paper due.
March 30, 2008: Full paper acceptance, subject to required corrections
May 4, 2008: Correct full paper due. Early registration due (at least one of the authors must register by this date, ensuring publication of the paper).
